Bro. Greg began serving his first church in 1974 as a part time Music Director while a senior in High School and has continued in similar positions in several churches while in college and seminary. After seminary he served churches in a full time capacity as Minister of Music, Music & Youth, Music & Education, and Associate Pastor.  In the summer of 1998 he began serving churches as Minister of Music in a bi-vocational capacity while working full time for a computer software company. He has served in churches in Mississippi, Louisiana and Tennessee. Bro. Greg accepted the call to serve as Minister of Music at Alice Bell Baptist Church in May of 2006.

Bro. Greg's wife, Vickie, is a preschool teacher at First Baptist Concord Preschool. They have three children and two grandchildren.   Jonathan and his wife, Emma, live here in Knoxville.  Katie and her husband, Jared, and the grandkids live in south Mississippi (near where Greg and Vickie grew up).  Kyle, their youngest, also lives here in Knoxville.

Nancy and her family have lived in the Knoxville area since 1994, after relocating from the Washington, DC area.  Nancy has over 25 years of ministry experience encompassing leadership in worship, media, fundraising, and creative development and joined ABBC in August 2015 as a ministry assistant.  Nancy also has 15 years of experience in Federal and Non-profit organization contract development and negotiations, and is enjoying utilizing her business acumen and heart for ministry in support of the mission of ABBC.

Nancy is a preacher’s kid (well ok, a middle-aged PK!), and has a breadth of knowledge and experience in ministry leadership in both small and large churches.  Her husband Troy, and children Christopher, and Heather have tagged along for the ride too, participating in missions and ministry over the years.  Christopher will be graduating high school this year and plans to pursue a calling in ministry studying apologetics.  Heather is in the seventh grade, is homeschooled, and enjoys softball and robotics.  Troy owns his own IT services company and has supported and served alongside Nancy over there 23 years of marriage!

Nancy maintains a private piano studio where she gives piano and vocal lessons each week.  Between her work at ABBC, and her other areas of ministry service, her week is pretty packed!  In her limited free time, Nancy enjoys reading, debating the scriptures with her son, watching her daughter playing softball, spending time with her husband, and all things creative.
